Who we are

Authentic Argyrades (corfupreservationproject.com) offers short-term holiday accommodation in Argyrades, Corfu, Greece. The data controller is CORFU PRESERVATION PROJECT, a Private Company (Ι.Κ.Ε.) registered in Greece (ΓΕΜΗ 159850433000, ΑΦΜ/VAT EL801598054), registered address Argyrades, Lefkimmi 49080, Corfu, Greece. What we collect

• Details you send via the booking or contact forms: your name, email address, telephone number (optional), requested dates, number of guests, your message, and your acceptance of our Terms of Use and Cancellation Policy.
• Details you send us directly by email or WhatsApp when arranging a stay.
• Basic technical logs kept by our hosting provider to run and secure the site. We set no analytics or advertising cookies of our own.

How we use it, and why we may

We use your details to answer your enquiry, confirm availability, arrange and manage your stay, take payment for a booking, and meet our legal and tax obligations as a licensed Greek accommodation provider. Our lawful bases are: taking steps at your request before entering a contract, performance of the booking contract, and compliance with legal obligations. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for marketing without your consent.

Who we share it with

Only service providers who help us run the site and bookings: our website host and form handler (Netlify), our payment services provider (who processes card payments on their own secure pages — we never see or store card details), our email provider (Microsoft 365), and WhatsApp if you choose to message us there. Where required, booking records are shared with the Greek tax authorities.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don't become bookings are kept for up to 12 months, then deleted. Booking and payment records are kept for as long as Greek tax and accounting law requires (currently at least five years), then deleted.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, ask us to restrict or object to its processing, and ask for a copy in a portable format. Email david@corfupreservationproject.com and we'll respond within a month. You can also complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (dpa.gr).

Cookies

This site works without tracking: we set no advertising or analytics cookies. Any strictly necessary cookies set by our hosting or payment providers exist only to deliver the service securely.
