Antigoni
The House
Antigoni sits in the heart of Argyrades and has been brought back with care. The lime-washed walls and the vaulted timber ceiling are original, the shelves set into the masonry are reclaimed wood, and from the balcony the rooftops fall away towards the hills.
Upstairs is a bright bedroom with a queen bed and its own bathroom. Downstairs, an open living room with a sofa leads to a full kitchen with a dining corner and a second bathroom, so the house works well for a couple or a small family. We added air-conditioning and fast Starlink internet. The bakery and tavernas are a few minutes on foot, and the sandy beaches of the south are ten minutes down the hill.

Argyrades
The Village
Argyrades dates back to Byzantine times, and its name is traditionally linked to the Argyros family of that empire. When pirates raided this coast, families left the plain for the high ground between three hills, and the settlement that grew there still shows it in lanes that bend out of sight and windows kept small and turned away from the sea. Under Venice, olive oil became Corfu's livelihood, and in 1716 men from Argyrades joined the defence of the island against the Ottoman siege. The old olive mill a short walk from Antigoni is the next home we are restoring.

Why Antigoni
Older Than It Looks
Argyrades has roots in Byzantine times. Families moved up from the plain to escape pirate raids, and the bending lanes and small windows of the old quarter come from that need for defence.
Olive Country
Under Venice, olive oil became Corfu's livelihood, and Argyrades had a mill of its own. The groves still surround the village.
A Village That Still Works
Around six hundred people live here, with a bakery, tavernas and neighbours. Argyrades is a working village rather than a resort.
Ten Minutes to the Beach
Agios Georgios South, the dunes at Issos and the lagoon at Korission are all a short drive down the hill.

What's the minimum stay?
Two nights as standard, though some seasons ask for more, and the calendar shows the minimum when you pick an arrival date.
How do I book?
Choose your dates on the calendar, add your details and accept our terms, then pay for your stay on a secure payment page. Your booking is confirmed as soon as the payment arrives. Questions first? Message us on WhatsApp or by email and we reply within 24 hours.
What are the payment and cancellation terms?
You pay the full price of the stay when you book, on a secure payment page. If you cancel before arrival, we refund the amount paid in full.
What's provided?
Linen, towels and end-of-stay cleaning are included in the nightly rate, along with a fully equipped kitchen with a coffee machine, air-conditioning, fast Starlink Wi-Fi and private parking.
How do we get there?
Fly to Corfu (CFU). Argyrades is an easy drive south, and we recommend hiring a car for the beaches and villages. Full directions come with your booking confirmation.
Who is Antigoni suited to?
A couple, or a small family. There is a queen bed upstairs and a sofa downstairs where a child can sleep. If you would like to bring a pet, message us before booking; it depends on the season and the length of stay.
Are there any extra fees?
There are no hidden fees. Cleaning is included in the nightly rate and no security deposit is taken. The only extra is the Climate Crisis Resilience Fee set by Greek law, payable per night on arrival. We confirm the exact amount with your booking.
